As part of the transition to a value stream model, NWEA was also implementing the Human-centered Design process. While the User Experience team was very familiar with this process, the rest of the organization was not. We knew we needed to build awareness of the Human-centered Design process that we were adopting across Product Management.
The three Experience Design Leads at NWEA created this learning module to help address this need. We felt that the best way to evangelize the adoption of the HCD process was to have employees walk through a design challenge using the HCD process. This training was designed to be taken asynchronously or with a facilitator.
