The Classic Chinese Garden in Portland is the largest Ming Dynasty garden in the U.S. It is based on the gardens of Suzhou and was built in collaboration with artists from that city.

To me, the garden is transcendent and spiritual. My work celebrates a small slice of the world that seems content to never change.
